One of the most anticipated Marvel movies is almost here! Captain America: Civil War will be showing in the big screens anytime now. We'll get to see Avenger vs Avenger - Captain America vs Iron Man, Scarlet Witch vs the Vision, Black Widow vs Hawkeye, Winter Soldier vs Black Panther, and also the exciting debut of the new Spider-Man! Great times indeed!
If the previous Captain America: Winter Soldier (which was awesome) was any indication, this follow up sequel is sure to be a big hit for Marvel fans. Captain America: Civil War will see most of the Avengers in action (except Thor and Hulk), as well as more of the Ant-Man (which was another fun movie).

The latest trailer of the Suicide Squad movie just released at the MTV Awards looks totally great!
The whole Suicide Squad team is shown in their glory, and even the Joker and the Batman get to strut their stuff. Not gonna lie, this new DC movie about a ragtag bunch of super-villains being heroes looks set be the next "Guardians of the Galaxy".
Cool looking characters, famous actors, badass looking super-villains, and Harley Quinn! Also can't wait to see Ben Affleck's Batman again, Leto's Joker, and Will Smith's Deadshot. Oh, and Katana looked awesome.
So what can possibly go wrong? I think this Suicide Squad movie will rock the superhero movie world!

So the second season of the brilliant Netflix series Daredevil has come and gone. Just when you were enjoying the whole spectacle it suddenly came to en end. It was quick wasn't it? I personally thought that 13 episodes was just too meager. I wanted at least 22 episodes in one season. Maybe the next one? Come on, Netflix... I beg you, Marvel!!!
Anyway guess we have to wait another year for the net dose of DD's Season 3 adventures. We will have to settle with Jessica Jones Season 2 and Luke Cage's debut coming very soon. Not my favorite characters in the MCU but they will do. For now. Hopefully we will be able to see some Iron Fist previews, and definitely want more of Frank Castle/Punisher!
So here are some of my random thoughts after going through all 13 episodes of the ol' Hornhead...
Billy clubs, yo!
1. Daredevil's costume - I thought it looked better than Season One. I still prefer the Affleck DD movie version, but the Netflix DD's mask/helmet looked great. I just didnt like the loose fitting suit that Charlie Cox wears in Season 2. It should be tighter and more form fitting.
Punisher series next?
2. The Punisher - Jon Bernthal nailed the role as Frank Castle! He did such a great job that he almost stole the show from Cox's Daredevil. He was violent, brutal, tough, efficient in getting the job done (eg killing bad guys, making them stay down), and also sympathetic at the same time. He also gave Daredevil such a tough fight in the encounters. What a badass... Definitely need to see more of Frank Castle on Netflix! Oh yeah, finally seeing him in the classic skull was another "YES!" moment.
Elektra Assassin
3. Elektra - I thought Elodie Yung was just ok at first. Then she grew on me later on in the series. Maybe it was her costume that was a slight let down. I would have preferred her wearing the bandana headgear (like in the comics) rather than the half mask. Still, it was nice to see her wield the double sai later in the series. She could really cause some damage with those blades. Here's a sai in your eye, evil ninja!
4. Charlie Cox - the main man! He is a great Daredevil. Nuff said.
Can we see the Gladiator in Season 3?
5. The Gladiator? - A cool easter egg when Melvin Potter showed us a glimpse of his Gladiator armor (under his shirt). Hopefully they will make Gladiator one of the villains in Season 3. Shouldn't be too difficult. Can't wait to see him in all his double saw-blade glory!
6. The billy club - Just when I almost gave up hope on ever seeing DD use his famous billy club with the grappling hook! Then it finally showed up in the end. Then DD uses it to swing around buildings. Yes!!! Cant ask for more...
The Hand will strike again
7. The Hand - Always cool to see some ninja action. Was Nobu suppose to be Kirigi? Was waiting for them to mention it but it never happened. I bet they will show up in the future with Elektra leading them this time. Matt Murdock will have his hands full fighting Elektra.
The Kingpin is plotting DD's downfall
8. The Kingpin - It was a pleasure to see Vincent D'onofrio appear in those couple episodes. Man, that guy is one menacing dude, as the Kingpin should be. I wanted Frank to take him out but I knew it was not the right moment. Next time, baby...
9. Stick - Scott Glen was perfectly cast as Stick. He was a mean, ornery old Sensei that nobody liked. But he could kick ass. The way he finished off Nobu was awesome. And the torture scene was painful to watch. Hope to see more of him in the third season.
10. Ass kicking, throat slashing, bone crunching fight scenes - there were numerous fight scenes in the second season. Standouts were the several Daredevil vs Punisher battles, the stair case scene with the Dogs of Hell, the skirmishes with the Hand, the Stick-Elektra-DD tussle, the brutal beatdowns delivered by Wilson Fisk, the Punisher prison fight. Well done. Truly not disappointed.
11. Bullseye? - With the Wilson Fisk gathering his power whilst hiding in prison, we know he will eventually come out and rule the underworld as the Kingpin. So it would be very likely he will need a right hand man to back him up as his muscle. So can we all say "Bullseye"? He has to show up int he series eventually right? He is the numero uno DD villain, after all!
So now we have to chill and wait for Season 3 to hit the screens next year. We have the other Netflix Marvel series to watch, and also the upcoming MCU movies. Captain America: Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, X-Men: Apocolypse... What else?

The amazing Netflix series Daredevil (season 2) is almost here and from all the buzz and previews we have managed to see so far, you can bet that the second season will totally rock. Here are some reason why.
Season 1 success
Most Daredevil and comic fans in general have agreed that the first season of Daredevil was really good. The story and plotline were engaging, and the actors were all on point, particularly Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) and Vincent D'Onofrio (Kingpin). Toby Leonard Moore who played Wesley was also great, but sadly he got killed off, as was Vondie Curtis-Hall who played Ben Urich. Oh yeah, and Rosario Dawson also stood out as Claire Temple.
Thea action scenes were well done, especially the legendary hallway scene, and the showdown with the ninja (Nobu) was exciting too.
So based on the strength of Season 1, we are guaranteed a more thrilling ride in Season 2!
New characters
Jon Bernthal as the Punisher! Everyone's stoked that the vigilante anti-hero Punisher will be introduced into the Marvel tv-verse. From the trailers, the Walking Dead's Bernthal seems perfectly cast as Frank Castle/Punisher. He looks like a complete badass and will surely give Matt Murdock a challenging time as they square off as Daredevil vs the Punisher!

There's also going to be the famous Elektra (played by Elodie Yung). What can I say? Matt's ninja assassin ex-girlfriend who kicks serious ass will definitely turn up the heat!

Are you kidding me? Seeing them appear in the second trailer gave me goosebumps! What's better as bad guys than those nasty ninja killers? Looks likie they've got an army of them this time round, and Daredevil will have his hands full. Hopefully they bring in the character calle Kirigi. Who wants to bet that Elektra and Punisher will team up with DD to take on the Hand?
Stick
Daredevil's mentor Stick returns. It's always cool to see Scott Glenn play a blind, mean and ornery ninja sensei who gives Matt a hard time. Wonder what role he he has to play in all this problems with Elektra and the Hand...

So there you have it! We've got DD returning! There's the Hand! Punisher! Elektra! Man... what more can make this Season 2 even more mind-blowing?... Hmm... Can we please have Bullseye?

According to Natsuda Jantaptim, a proud owner of a doll she named Ruay Jang (translated to mean “so rich”), this doll likes strawberry milk. But she hates the cold so you have to make sure the air conditioning is turned off at night! This little doll also has her own pillow and blanket and “sleeps” on the same bed as the owner...

These doll collectors believe that the Child Angel dolls contain the spirit of a real child. If you treat them well like a member of your real family, well then, good fortune will come to you! (yes I know, you can stop sniggering now)... Oh yeah, you have to take these dolls to the Buddhist temple to be “blessed” by the monks.

3.You can win the lottery
According to Natsuda, her luck improved after owning her doll as she managed to win the lottery recently and her buddy (who also owns a similar doll) was able to repay his long standing debts after praying to it!
4.These babies cost a bomb!
Made famous by some local celebrities, these Child Angel dolls cost up to US$600. These local movie stars and performers think the dolls brought them professional success...
Apparently these dolls have become so popular with the lonely (and quirky) residents of Bangkok that you see people carrying and going around with the dolls in cinemas, the subway, restaurants etc. A bit freaky if you ask me...
