I was driving in town and I noticed a billboard which displayed a movie poster. It caught my eye somehow. Very interesting poster of five girls (who look like superheroines) in pitch battle against all sorts of opposition (robots, dragons, armored vehicles etc). Then I noticed that the movie was called "Suckerpunch". I decided to check out what the heck this movie was about. Here's what I discovered:
Sucker Punch is an upcoming epic action adventure movie directed by 300’s Zack Snyder. Sucker Punch features an ensemble female cast.

The movie is set in the 1950's, where a young girl’s dream world gives her an escape from her darker reality. She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive. Desperate for freedom, she urges four other young girls-the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish)-to team up to fight against their captors and try to escape their terrible fate. The “super-villains” are Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm).

We will see the girls wage war against everything from samurai warriors to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive.
